Learning to speak English can be difficult sometimes. In fact, learning any language can be a challenge. However, it can be easier if you learn English with a friend, a language partner, or anyone who can enjoy the experience with you. The most difficult thing about learning a language is starting to use the language you have learnt. I know this from my experience in learning French and Italian. I am also studying German and fully understand the challenges foreign learners face.
So how can I speak English well?
Speaking English well involves a lot of patience, a lot of practice, and a lot of dedication. Nonetheless, it is worth it. It is worth it because it will give you enormous satisfaction when you see the results. When people tell you that you speak English well, you know you have reached your goal. Only the other day someone complimented me on my Italian. It still gives me incredible satisfaction to hear, even after living here for more than 12 years.
Ok, I have patience, I practice, and I am dedicated.
How do I improve?
The best way to practise is by using material which has been made to practise speaking. This can be a list of expressions for specific situations. It can be an exercise on English conversation phrases. However, what can really help you is reading in English. Although reading anything will not necessarily help you improve your English conversation. It is important to choose specific reading material. That is in the form of English dialogues.
You see, English dialogues can really help you learn English as they are based on real conversations. Conversations in specific situations, using particular words and phrases. These are phrases you can use in your English language to talk to people. So, practice reading English dialogues.
So where can I find these English dialogues?
Well, if you really want to know where you can find good English dialogues you will have to book some English lessons with me, Teacher Dominic. You see, you can search for English dialogues on Google and find everything you need to practice. However, how do you know you are pronouncing that word correctly? How do you know you are reading correctly? How do you know you are improving?
That is why you need an English teacher who really cares about how you learn English.
Thanks for reading.
